would i look a dink using a shopping trolley

really want one to use for shopping etc
they come in more nicer styles now and i dont drive so when walking to the shops carrying them bloody bags that always break or rip into ur fingers do my head in, also thought i wouldnt be using carriers then, so doing my bit in a way.
    What are ur thoughts?
oh plus im off to the north east at the end of the month on the coach so would be handy then as stoppin off at london both ways

I agree with this. No matter how pretty it is!

they are a bit of a trend....I would

My mum got a trapped nerve in her shoulder and has had trouble lifting ever since, she used ot make me go shopping with her until she got one of these.. It was only old people who used to use them but i see alot more younger people these days. Might prevent you from picking up problems like trapped nerves in the future?

Who cares what people think..........do what you want.

If people laugh or have a problem with it then it's their problem as they are the ones that are to inhibited to actually have a life.

Its really sad people are saying no, who cares what strangers think, why struggle just so someone you will never meet again won't think you look silly?! I like the red one:thumbsup:

just do it, if it does the job good,

    Street Cred!

I also think it's a little bizarre people saying that only old women use them!!! :w00t: Like struggling to carry heavy bags that are cutting into your hands makes you look cool or something????
As an old woman, I'm rather tempted to get one now even though I have absolutely no need for one.:p

I have no need really but have decided to use the car less for shopping, just walk to my local butchers and grocers and keep fit for free

I thought the same about street cred until I needed to use a mobility scooter after a car accident. You get over the embarrassment etc and it becomes part of you. I say go for it - I may get one when more mobile!

No, dont do it, you will be laughed at

I think Ikea do a similar one to that bright pink one. I once went shopping and forgot I had parked my car way out of town and walked, as I kept getting more and more stuff my arms were killing me so I popped into the local market and bought a wheeled holdall like people use for holidays etc, I needed one anyway as the kids were going on a school holiday it was only about £12 and it meant I could keep shopping without doing my self an injury
