If she doesn't do many pages is it worth spending £150 on a laser printer?
she's sick of ink cartridges failing to print properly. well can you get a decent one for less?
You can buy the brother 8260 for around £185. As long as you buy it from an approved list you can claim £100 cashback. Brother do cashback on other models too.

Does "she doesn't do many pages" mean say less than 15pages/month? HP Instant Ink has an ongoing freebie 15ppm option, and whilst inkjet not laser, the vast majority of HPs have the print head integral to the ink cartridge so the issue of dried-up carts is virtually eradicated compared to Epsons and similar. Even the cheapest of the HP models qualify for II, and even HP models with "includes xx months II trial" qualify for the potentially preferable ongoing freebie 15ppm plan. Just an option
