STA travel?

You would probably be better off doing the round the world ticket, I did this with Air NewZealand and Virgin.
the cheapest would be if you only took two stops each way allowing for say Singapore and Australia one way and hawaii or Figi and California the other way - Ive done this and it is the best way to do it, longest flight is under 10 hrs

It would be worth considering joining a frequent flyer program in order to get 'miles' credited to your account. Joining something similar to the Diamond Club at BMI could prove to be rewarding depending upon the status of the tickets purchased. Look out for the 'new member' promotions - They have had joining offers in the past which credit up to 9000 airmiles as an intoductory bonus, tie that in with the offer of bonus multiples offered frequently and you could have a great stack of miles to redeem towards another flight in the future.

What he said, and maybe sign up for either the Tesco credit card or the BMI one to buy the tickets with, either way you'll get extra airmiles.
