Wrong goods supplied, problem with return?

I ordered a piece of furniture from an online company, arrived no problem, but after I’d unpacked it I soon realised it wasn’t the size I ordered. The company eventually agreed it was their fault as it was the wrong description on their website, now saying the suppliers won’t pick it up unless in original packaging which I no longer have.
Not sure which way to go
