WTF are ebaying playing at now.

I just tried to advertise something on ebay I have 400+ feedbacks at a rating of 99.4% and have been told that because of DSR I am not currently allowed to advertise.
For those of you that dont know DSR are the 5 star rating system they use, so if you sell 20 items but only 2 people rate you and give you less than 2 stars you are immediately regarded a bad seller by ebay and banned a small period from selling. Even though the other 18 customers are happy

i got a message from paypal saying that because i have 4.5 stars rating, or dont sell much, that no matter what i sell on ebay, if i do that, the will put a tempory hold on any money i get from selling, bs if you ask me. brb il post deatils here seems to be a new thing they are doing.

PayPal holds payments to ensure that sellers have sufficient funds in their account if a customer files a dispute or chargeback.
Holds may also be placed on your account if:

You have a high rate of customer disputes or low eBay feedback

You have been an eBay and PayPal member for less than 6 months, and have limited selling activity

You have an eBay feedback score of less than 100 and do not have a record of good performance

You’re selling on eBay and have a low Detailed Seller Rating (4.5 or below)

You happen to be selling in a high risk category such as tickets, travel, gift vouchers, computers, electronics or mobile phones

You have a sudden change in selling activities
PayPal will also hold funds for transactions where the buyer has raised a dispute, claim or chargeback.

That's been in place a long time now............it's to stop the many scammers emptying their accounts and leaving paypal to foot the bill.

It's always the way, the small minority (the scammers) spoil it for the rest of us

    Are you using eBay.com?

How strange that they use US figures for your limit. They could at least convert it.

So you are limited to about £75 sales a week now?
