    XBOX 360 Extra Functuions

I own an XBOX 360 and use it for the normal things:

    [* Playing Games.
    [* Watching DVD's .
[* Downloading Demos, Arcade Titles and the odd movei trailer.
    [* XBOX Live.
[* Use as an iPod docking station.
[* Showing Photos off of my camera.

But with all the capabilities of the 360 what else are others doing with it?

What is the benefit of hooking it up to the PC for exapmle?

I am not planning on moddiny my 360 so do not want to know about that but what else can be done with a standard 360?

watching downloaded videos/movies/Tv shows on a HDTV screen rather then PC monitor.

As i dont have sky i can now watch prison break (downloaded) on TV instead of my pc monitor

Also i can stream Mp3s from my comp and play through my TV whilst playing a game

360 is rubbish for me with ym ipod as i have 150 songs bought from itunes and they dont play

    Msn is rubbish too

i would watch dvds on it if it was region free

Only thing i use my 360 for is games and the odd demo of mlb 2k7

Playing DIVX and MP4 movies via memory stick and playing games

If you do use MSN then it's handy on the 360 as it means you can chat to people while watching a film or in the middle of a game, you really need the 360 messenger kit though if you'd like to do this.

I did this last night you do not need TVersity just Media Player 11. I have the exact same set up as you.

I hooked the 360 up to my router (wired)and turned it on, then turned my laptop on and connected to my network (wireless).

Open up Media Player 11 (or install it if you do not have it) click on the Library Tab and Select Media Sharing. Tick the check box and Allow the XBOX 360 console.

Then on the 360 open up the media blade and select movies for example and press X to change location from your 360 HD to your laptop or select the computer name from the list.

    TaDa all done.

I hope this helps. I did this last night and it works great. If you have any problems let me know and I can write you up some better instructions.
