Xbox 360 N adapter Help

Im wondering whether to get new N adapter or Just normal one for my 360. My router is upstairs and my 360 down, I dont have a N router Got a G. Just wondered if the N adapter would still make a difference on signal or not. Will leave Rep on any Help

No.....just get a normal one.

N will work with N & G routers.
Where as the G will only work on the G routers

If you plan on getting a N router in the future, it may be worth getting one.

Thanks for advice and rep left think i will just get normal if not a big difference. As dont think we will be getting new router anytime soon

if you wish to use 802.11n then all your devices on your wireless network HAVE to be 802.11 n if not then if a802.11g device is used the whole network drops to 802.11g

all 802.11n is a more efficient algorithm on the 2.4Ghz feq giving greater range and through put

What's wrong with my one then? I can't even run Windows Media Centre on my 360 without it pausing for 5 minutes whenever I try to look at my music folder. I can view divx compressed HD not really tried full HD yet.

Yeah i used to be able to do that as well through my old xbox 360 wireless adapter
