XBox Gaming Pass for PC

Hi, can anyone help me. My son has a gaming PC and XBox Gamepass Ultimate subscription that’s due to expire imminently. What’s the best way to continue this, or is it £11 a month via subscription?
I see comments about EA 12 month pass converting to 4 months GPU but not sure if this applies to PC access?? Thanks
