xbox hd-dvd player on Vista laptop

I could google, but there are lots of results, and I know somenone on here must have set-up their xbox hd-dvd player to a pc running Vista by now.
I have a new Dell laptop 2.0ghz core 2 duo with 256 Ati card and Vista Home Premium SP1. Any pointers before I dive in please? (drivers, programs, etc?)

All you need is software to play them.
The drive will work fine when you plug it in.

If you do find any "borrowed" software, it will work as usual. In fact, I use "borrowed" software to play my hd dvds as well.

The Quickplay software on HP laptops will play HDDVDs. You'll need a very powerful processor to run HDDVDs.
