    Xbox HDMI Help!!

    Morning all

Apologies if this is a really stupid question, from a non techie person,

I've recently bought a Samsung LE22S86BD LCD TV and was connecting my Xbox360 via the scart / AV lead (that came with the XBOX).

I've now bought a HDMI cable from Amazon (£5 special on the advice of HUKD forumistas), but when i connect the TV and 360 i get a no signal message.

I've tried messing with the settings but without joy, am i missing something completely obvious here?

    Cheers in advance.

    as above ^^^

    360 is on isnt it?

If you have checked everything on the XBox and TV then read below:-

There is as far as I'm aware a known issue with these TVs, I have a Samsung 28" BDX and with the Xbox it loses the signal every now and then, after mucho trawling of the interweb I found several forums on the same or similiar issues. The short answer is use component

tbh i think component is better anyway. Theres no visual difference in picture, you can plug optical straight into it and it frees an HDMI port up and uses connections that naff all else will use anyway

According to many reviews I have read, theres only a slight difference in blacks HDMI being slightly better but it was totally dependant on your TV. Originally I thought wow HDMI new tech straight off going to be better. So I read a bit in the end I couldn't notice any difference so went with an non-HDMI version, as it was cheaper.

Yep it is one of the HDMI models, I have played around with settings in the system set up functions. I assume this is the right place?
