Xbox ultimate subscription turkey unable to redeem

Unless it's changed, you can't extend a membership if they're from different regions. How/where did your current membership come from? If you used a UK code or subbed via the UK Xbox Store, you will not be able to add a Turkish subscription onto it. You'll have to wait for it to expire and then apply it. (edited)

The only way you can get it to redeem is by migrating your Microsoft account to Turkey. Had to do this on mine to redeem Brazil codes. Changing region and using a vpn gave me the exact same error message. It does appear that vpn and region change works for some users, but not others. I redeemed the sane codes on my brothers UK account with no issue, but I could not redeem them on mine until I migrated my entire account to Brazil.

Migrating your account has downsides. You won't lose any digital content you purchased, but you will lose any UK store credit you have, and you won't be able to buy from the UK store any more. You also won't be able to buy from the Turkey store using a UK bank card, you would have to use Turkish Lira gift cards.

You can only migrate your account twice in a year and once you have migrated it, you can't migrate it again for 3 months. I had to contact Microsoft support to migrate mine, I followed the steps but it didn't work. You need to put a Turkey address on the Microsoft store too

In my opinion, sometimes the savings ain't worth the headache.

I redeem Turkish game pass every few months. I don't change any settings on my Xbox / Microsoft account. I connect to Turkey with VPN then open a new private / incognito window and sign in to my Xbox account. Then I just redeem as usual.

If you didn't use a private window in browser or changed your settings in your account it might be causing the issue.

I migrated my account to Brazil over a year ago and haven't looked back. I just use Brazil gift cards to buy from the Brazil MS store, it's always cheaper than the UK store, even after paying inflated prices for Brazil gift cards

Where did you buy it from?

My original sub was through the upgrade for £1 the one I am trying to add was purchased from turkey and bought through eneba. I have 12 months left on my current sub but trying to extend it

Already on my 2nd vpn its definatly recognising the turkey region because when I login in to the microsoft account everything is in turkish. Never had issues before just this has me really stumped. I bought games from agentina and redeemed then without any issues at all.

You may find that you need to wait for the current subscription to run out first. I just bought one from livecards.co.uk & they say you add the codes after any existing Xbox Gold or Game pass subscription ends only.

Once its expires, open a VPN & set to Turkey.
Goto Xbox.com in ‘Incognito Mode’, then login as normal
Enter the codes & it should work.

I have to wait til February to try mine out.

Good luck waiting that long. From my experience it's best to use the code ASAP. If by the time you come to use it in December and it says the code has already been used, which does happen a lot with key selling sites, it'll be tough trying to get a refund 11 months later. (edited)

You shouldn't have migrated your account to a different country, that's just silly.

Only gift cards with VPN work (or if you somehow have a payment card for the country you're buying from) regardless of where your account is set.

Sadly no i tried different VPNs changing all my details etc but nothing worked. Gave up in the end.

Have you tried a few different VPN servers?

Can't get this to work and I'm sick of trying Free to a good home 44KM2-QPCRG-XRVJJ-V2H32-CJH9Z

I am getting this exact same issue, extended my gamepass before without issues. Is it because of Microsoft being more strict with the loophole ?
