Just make sure you get the latest BT drivers for your mobo and stay up to date with the controller firmware on the Xbox Accessories app - free in the MS Store.
Heated OP!
Just get it used and get some enjoyment out of it. Won’t be worth that much in the future. I use both of my limited editions plus this which was even more limited.
So if a packet of crisps costs 70p for a week, and isn't reduced anywhere else it's a deal? I mean from some of the comments on here people are actually collecting these without using them, so if you are just fulfilling a compulsion then that's obviously up to individuals, but there is precisely zero deal here. I'm still angry at myself for paying full price last month from Microsoft.
Eh? The Xbox controller is one of the most comfortable out there. You can buy rechargeable batteries and the good thing is if they run out while gaming you just put some new ones in and off you go. There is also less that can go wrong due to the battery not being built into it.
cannot decide to opened it or leave it sealed. Stock is a issue, as nearest one in stock after 4pm is 45 minutes drive away.
Yep, yep - straight through your BT. A BT dongle is available, sold separately, but I'm guessing that's for users without onboard BT.
Absolutely no issues with games on any launcher I've tried so far; Steam, Epic, Bethesda, Ubi, GoG or Origin. (edited)
Definitely wasn’t going to pay extra so I’m glad I managed to order one. (Glasgow area). Thanks OP.
The popularity of the Xbox controller with PC gamers tells you all you need to know. Nice try!
How so?
Thanks a million!
Cheers
Check the front of the box with a UV light, nice little nudge back to the original days.
Can jump between controllers but the price of this controller, how much???
It’s got additional grip (textured rubber) read the comments it’s apparently a bit weightier.
Not including a rechargeable battery pack is shear greed on MS's part. Not to mention not every environmentally friends since they include 2 non rechargable AAs which go on the battery bank after 20 hours or so.
Feel of these controllers is decent but the buttons are cheap and require very definitive pressing to ensure consistency. Analogue sticks and triggers aren't too bad.
Compared to the dualsense, these are lacking in any new gen features, and actually its pretty embarrassing they charge so much for these.
Absolute insanity. They’ll never be worth anything.
True, to be worth anything they'd have to stick the Nintendo logo on the box!
I've never used a PS4 as a controller, I'm not even sure it's possible. Is it some kind of mod to make it work on the Xbox? But even then, wouldn't the case just make it really clunky since it's like 2kg+?
Don’t pay attention to this guy, he’s from YARKSHIRE
