That's for the bios password, That won't help you.

As NerdCore says

"Either ophcrack to crack it or use NT password reset to reset the password."

Boot from Hirens BootCD
or
ERD Commander
etc
These have utilities to be able to reset the password, obviously you need to find them and then burn them to CD 1st though, google should help

I don't use xp so not sure if you can but can't you boot in safe mode and log on as admin without a password? Then reset your password within control panel.

Oh dear. Not so good. Perhaps hard drive password, set from the BIOS? I've never used either but was pretty sure one or the other was a fairly effective security solution.

Keep no password you have nothing to hide then and no thrill for someone to break it.

Edit not real advise

Take a look at this. I did this the other day for a friend who forgot their password for windows 7. Dead easy to follow and exactly as they described. Worked a treat in around 15 mins.
