had to laugh at their selling techniques
at least they are honest.

The new DAB clock Radio/Cd from Yamaha - built to take on the Bose Wave system and fails miserably. Ok, so its cheaper so it won't sound as good, but at a rrp of £300 its not cheap enough. We think it would be better value for money at £200 so we are selling it at that.

good points are:

All-in-one, compact unit (i.e. small)
Plays regular CDs and CDs with MP3 or WMA tracks (same as everything else)
Listening to MP3/WMA files stored on a USB device (so you thought you pc speakers were bad !)
Playing back external MP3/portable audio players via 3.5mm mini plug (make even more things sound bad)
DAB/FM/AM tuner (no station can escape)
Independent speaker boxes with Twin SR-Bass (speakers have plastic behind them)
Bass, treble and balance controls (balance - useful if you have a very narrow head and are sitting very close to it)
Four EQ modes (Rock, Pop, Jazz and Classic) (make it sound odd)
Timer and clock functions (guaranteed to make you jump out of bed to switch it off)
Handy card-type remote unit (so you can get further away from it)
