extremely mixed reviews on tripadvisor, but the common theme seems to be the rooms are tiny/not enough sunbeds by the pool.

depending which review you believe the staff are great/extremely rude, food is great/basic/awful.

139 reviews on tripadvisor so take the middle ground-its probably not too bad.

British holiday makers described the Turkish province of Hirnosus was described as 'hell on earth' yesterday as the tourist resort of Yel was embroiled in an all out civil war.
Turkish imperial guards clashed with local rebel yesterday after a law was passed to stop local man Ali Ba from marrying his camels.
'I love my camels' exclaimed Ali Ba on a leaked television interview
'But if the government will not let my love be, then war they shall have - DEATH TO THE INFIDELS'
Tourists trapped in the resort described how the streets where 'hell on earth'. Mr I.P.Freely commented ' Its disgusting- men, women and camels lie in the street fornicating- you wouldn't get this is good ol' blighty'

The British office of tourism and travel is advising all British citizens to avoid the area if possible.

Hi stayed here a couple of years ago before it was all inclusive, great holiday. Rooms basic, but clean. Food lovely, pool area nice. My daughter then stayed in Sept 2010, was a bit apprehensive after reading trip advisor, but got there and loved it, booked again for next year. Not 4 star but you get what you pay for.
