    yi dash camera

Hi does anyone have any experience with a yi car camera? I've currently got an eprance 0801, looking to upgrade and like wifi this time. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
    Many thanks

I went from an 0803 that died to a Gitup, which is similar to the Yi. It was recomended on Techmoan.

Quality is better and has been faultless since I bought it which I couldn't say about the 0803.

Wifi is useless though. The app is rubbish and I've never managed to download a file on it before it timed out. Not sure how the Yi app is.

I guess maybe wifi is a gimmick, but the idea of being able to playback an event without having to remove my sd card and load it onto my 10yr old laptop (superslow) appeals. However I'm open to suggestions on different cams. I've also had a quick glance over at tech moans.

People ar walking into a monitored state without realising, these in lots of occasions can go against you, if the police think your to blame that can take you camera as evidence , and all the footage on there better be legal, I wouldn't touch a camera even if it was for free.

Please people don't be one of those people, rant over..

Most useful piece of kit I ever bought!!
Front facing camera only but it still sorted the insurance claim out in my favour when hit from the rear. Although their was no camera footage from the rear you could hear the other driver state he was at fault.
This came in useful when his insurance company tried dispute their drivers liability

worth avoiding the GPS versions if you "occasionally" ahem speed. if you are shown to be over the limit then you could be automatically be assumed to be to blame.
State monitoring is definitely am area we are putting ourselves into without realising!!

    glad its not just me
