NO WAY, I might pm you later. no one better to get all details off. I love peanut butter too so might chill with them

If you are into aircraft, Elvington Air Museum is worth a visit.
If the weather is good enough, you could head into the York Moors (trip on the NY Moors Railway) or slightly further head into the Dales.
If the wife wants a shopping day, McArthur Glen outlet is good for bargains.

If you want to venture a bit further afield the kids will love the Yorkshire wildlife park on the outskirts of Doncaster .

Thanks so much all of you. Il look into all of them might aswel make most of the week. Think the wildlife one will be good

Check out creepy crawlies its an indoor play centre and its huge, but has a nice cafe so you and wife can get a decent cup of coffee, and they have a decent menu for food, i highly recommend the pizza.
But they also have an also have a large outdoor play area with go karts and a sand digging area, with some climbing frames and even a section at the back with animals (nothing fancy but there are goats, lamas, chickens, rabbits, cows)

It's really good. They have a pride of lions rescued from Romania and tigers too. Some of the enclosures you can walk through which is brilliant

No worries, they come on to the decking on a night. Have a lovely holiday! The American Diner down the road is good to and you can get takeaways delivered to your lodge

that's looks like somewhere il definitely go.

Castle museum is good for kids and railway museum which is free. +1 for Creepy Crawlies if you are looking for some soft play and some food.

    Plenty of ideas here little-vikings.co.uk/

And don't overlook the simple things - My two love to just walk around the walls, its about 3 miles all the way round and plenty of places to see, eat and drink on the way. Squirrels in the museum gardens will eat out of your hands if you like that sort of thing.

You'll have a great time in and around York I'm sure and if you fancy the coast Scarborough and Whitby are both an hour away and fantastic places to visit.
