Hi. If you mean not successfully settled then there's an outstanding balance. If you mean now successfully settled then the agreement is settled in full requiring no further payments. I hope this helps.

Hi, if this comment has come from a credit reference agency then they may mean that, although you have had credit accounts in the past, none have them have been settled on time. Or the accounts may have outstanding balances which should have been settled by now. Answer will depend on where the comment has come from though. Hope this helps

Thank you it's from experian, I have had one credit card before but lloyds take 6 months to close it down so even though there is no balance I'm still in the process of the waiting for it to be fully closed down once this is fully closed could this rectify this on my credit score?

Seems unusually bad grammar for Experian, was this when you logged in to see your credit report or was it emailed to you (if emailed then it could be a phishing attempt from a third party)? If it was on your specific account when you log in then it may be best to submit a query to them for an explanation. The number is 0844 481 8000 (or 0800 5610083 / 0800 9520094 as provided by www.saynoto0870.com)/ If the balance has been completely cleared and there has never been late or missed payments then there shouldn't be too much of an adverse effect on your credit score though sometimes closing down a long standing card can have an adverse effect on your report, see here for more information moneysavingexpert.com/cre…rds it also states there that it only takes a month before Lloyds would consider you to be a new customer, I'm not too sure where they got that figure from but I have worked for one of the other banks listed there and the timescale for that particular one is accurate.
