    Three books.
The rats, Lair and Domain by James Herbert.
Always thought they would make good films.

Dracula, it really is a great story. So over looked in schools and side-lined by the public, its not silly vampire nonsense like on the TV its a really thrilling story!

Oooh I probably have a top ten but I'm not sure I could pick just one. If I had to I think it would be A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving . After that it would be return of the native by Thomas hardy, pride and prejudice by Jane Austen, the source by James a mitchener, the tin drum by Gunter grass, three men in a boat by Jerome k Jerome, the island by Victoria hislop. I could go on and on and on

I really like pride and prejudice. I would class that as second after jane eyre. Charlotte bronte and jane austen are my two favourite authors.

My OH really loves the film but i dont really take to it. Did it start out as a book? Unless you are referring to something else.

My OH says that it is the only film that makes hair on the back of his neck stand up but i dont actually find it frightening at all. Odd, as i am the one who is always scared of ghosts and have nightmares when i watch horror movies but for whatever reason, that movie misses me.

I am aware however that it is a very popular movie. Didnt know it started out as a book.

Not a great story, but it explains every word as you progress.

in all seriousness the hellbound heart was a favorite for years, then i started reading dean koontz and thoroughly enjoyed the christopher snow "trilogy"(still waiting on the 3rd book)

never read pride and prejudice, but i did read pride and prejudice and zombies
