I'm thinking of replacing my Sony T100 with a better camera and am thinking of a bridge camera as I dont want the hassle of carrying a large DSLR with lenses etc.

The one I'm considering is either the Fuji s2000hd or the s8100fd.

Anyone got any views on these or better suggestions. Size is a real consideration as I'm not the sort to carry something too big, anything too large would just be left indoors most of the time.

I had the same problem up to a couple of weeks ago when I bought a Fujifilm s1000fd from Fuji's refurb shop.
Really superb camera, tiny in comparison to an SLR.
I found the s8100fd to be a little deeper and not as good to hold as the s1000.

Qality is superb though.

The fuji bridges are pretty good all rounders have a look here ]DPReview and look specifically at user reviews. The other thing is, go into somwhere like Jessops JUST to have a play with one and see which one suits you best.
