You don’t need to buy codes just go direct there’s 12 months options that stack.

India works out around £13.50 for me. Probably going to bite the bullet and go with that

They're not. People are just not bothering to read the litany of threads on this site. Adding family members before paying for YouTube premium has been mentioned countless times.
Only problem is the Family membership doesn't work at all. YT Premium works fine on my account, but nobody else's. Any idea why? The family was already set up before I paid with the VPN (edited)
my crypto.com visa debit card stopped working as everyone else’s did.
I used tunnelbear app for vpn on my iPhone to connect to argentina
then used my monzo mastercard as visa is the issue in Argentina and updated my payment details to monzo Mastercard no issue.

i'm using revolut which is visa... could try mastercard from my natwest but doubt will work!
damn i have monzo but it expired

To check your YouTube payment methods:

2.
Click Manage membership
3.
Click EDIT next to your existing payment method.
4.
Click the down arrow
5.
Select another payment method or add credit or debit card
6.
If applicable, enter your card information
7.
Click SUBMIT
To add a backup payment method to be used if your primary payment method is ever declined:
1.
Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships
2.
Click Manage membership
3.
Next to "Backup payment method," click EDIT
4.
Click Add credit or debit card
5.
Enter your card information
6.
Click SUBMIT
