no, all I did was add adguard vpn chrome extension, turn it on after making an account (no bank details just email verification) then when you open youtube premiumn you are sent to turkey one and make payment then deleted vpn, that's what I did (edited)

You can use it anywhere you sign in with Google bud so should work on the TV as well as phones and other devices / firesticks / Google TV's etc. Ours works fine on em all. (edited)

I've tried the same method as per this thread for Google One storage and it hasn't worked. It always links me back to UK subscription prices unfortunately. I will try it on my laptop over the weekend and let you know how I get on.
As for Google blocking my account, I can't see this happening personally - seems a bit extreme! I have YouTube Premium all set up and shared with the missus and my daughter (thanks OP) as they were already in my Google family. (edited)- Just some more info for anyone who wants it, also struggled to get it to accept the payment, could add cards but would always error out when you click buy or order, to get it to work, I added my revolut card as a payment option then before I clicked buy or order to actually put the order through I turned off the VPN then clicked the button, went through first try like that, restarted youtube apps on different devices and the premium shown up right away.
But did u pay for UK price if VPN was off - Just had an email that my Argentinian Youtube Premium is going up by 330% from 80p per month to £2.29 per month! Any way I can sign up with another country and get it cheaper?

How did you get your family on it? I try but get errors.
Don't use a VPN when sending or accepting the invites to the family. Do it all without one.
When using the VPN, I kept getting the "not in same country" error.

people have been doing this for years and no one has said they have been banned, some have even recurring monthly and no problem.
the family cost is slightly more, I'm not sure how it sets up for family members, if you have to do it while signing in or can do it later, I would think later tbh and maybe even allow to change?20/05/2022 13:49

when a browser blocks a popup you get a little notification next to search box on the right, think it shows an a little x
click on that notification and you get an option to allow popups from the site, that's what I did, let me know how it goes

Thel ink you posted adds on a Chrome Extension - but there doesn't seem to be any option to create an account or choose Turkey as an country etcIf I go directly to their website and register an account with AdGuard VPN, and change it to Turkey, everything turns into Turkish so cant read it!
once you added the extension then click on it, if you can't see then you on the browser tab (next to the search bar at the top of your browser) there is a little jigsaw icon
click that icon and then chose adguard vpn, then it ask to log in or create an account. once you have done this step then in google I just typed "Youttube premiumn" and clicked the top link which was the one I posted

Thank you! I keep thinking... These days I don't know any phone numbers... Don't know many passwords. Use Google for them all... Except a few banking ones and Amazon and PayPal. So I could cope with losing most things but Google! Maybe I can always make a new Google account and copy my passwords over at least!
