Zavvi Clearout Sale - A Scam?

I was in Zavvi yesterday at Picadilly Circus in London, and got excited at picking up some bargains because they were running a so-called clearance sale and had all these yellow stickers with new prices on their products.

But Zavvi's idea of a clearance sale is like a scam! Take a look at this picture I took of a Wii game, and see if you can spot anything wrong with it...

Saving money and your still not happy?

Dont want this to seem like im hi jacking the thread (even tho i hguess i am but zavvi were one of woolies suppliers so i would expect the same tricks)

this was the same with the xbox and ps3 games in woolies before they were to shut on their last day yesterday in all stores local to me. they had shelves full of games etc.

Also they were taking blue ray films off the shelf and taking all the covers out and selling the blue cases alon for 5 for a quid

the only thing they did do at o9ur store was all dvds and albums music were a quid

Although some things were good like all kids toys under 15 quid were a quid and over 15 quid were 3 quid
needless to say shelves were bare

so im sure deals are to be had in zavi just prob not on electrical stuff

Woolies supplied Zavvi...NOT the other way round!

I've picked up a few items that were below the cost I could get them on the internet, let alone on the high street

You just gotta hope anything you buy works

pay with credit card so you can snatch back

I just ordered £400 worth from Zavvi. They already say they "need evidence" of billing address. I came to look at reviews across the internet and it doesn't look good. I instantly deleted my saved debit card details and hope that they cant see it anymore. When I get home I'm going straight to the bank to draw out all my cash and order a new debit card or I'm screwed!! Stay away, I'm warning you now!
