Hi @BernieSlam If something invalidates the deal we'd either usually remove it (ie it never existed) or it would be marked as expired. That goes for situations where it isn't invalidated but not all was as it seemed.

There was some discussion about the ability to change your vote. I'll see what happened with it and report back
This is a very good idea. Please consider it.
Sometimes you vote HOT on a deal only to find out OP has lied or completely got their deal wrong and there's no way you would've voted HOT

In those specific circumstances (where the deal was posted on a misconception) it needs to be removed but there needs to be absolutely no uncertainty.
It's also too easy to accidentally hit the hot or cold vote button when scrolling through the list of deals (on Android app at least) countless times I've accidentally voted something cold without even opening it.

Perhaps these buttons should be removed; how can you determine whether a deal is hot or cold without reading first?
+1, please let us switch between hot and cold. Useful feature for millions..
I've had a look and this is something which has been added for future discussion. By that I mean the idea will be considered in detail and a decision made if this is something we want to do When the time comes i'll update you all on what happened and we'll take it from there.
