There is the option to add a photo to new FS threads. However, it is not clickable to a bigger version.

Im aware of both of these, but i am on about being able to add it the the first post, the original post. As like i said it might make people put up photos when they submit a deal rather then afterwards, and also means everyone can see it no matter what page they are on. Furthermore, it means that if there is a form to fill in for photos they might be encouraged to do so as well unlike many threads where people keep asking for photos.

this and make it compulsory.

I fail to see why its not. it would save mods god knows how much time and a hell of an amount of pointless bumps asking for pics.

i dont think making photos should be compulsory as such, many times i have sold stuff without putting up photos, its more for newer users or things you need to see the condition of.

but it doesn't work out like that as its at the discretion of the mods wether or not photos are needed and to be honest its a mess. some trusted long term users still get threads locked for pics for all sorts of items while some don't and the same goes for noobs with no feedback, some get locked and some don't. Its hardly fair.

you either have it compulsory so for everyone its a fair playing field for all or you don't.

But this has been discussed before and in all likelyhood nothing will happen(as with most things in feedback).

oh agreed, it was more a thing to see what others opinions were, and i dont think photos should be mandatory as for example ive got good feedback on here now and if im only selling for example a couple of cheap games or dvds i would not expect to provide photos to be honest.
For more expensive items i always do though as i think people need to see them, although i never but my username in them.
