I think that time bug has reappeared somehow. One of the servers has the wrong time or something and is doing 7 hours minus the time since which makes it all screwy. It was fixed but I noticed it happen again yesterday. It doesn't happen all the time because the other servers are ok so it's only when you hit that one server by chance.

Would the problem still exist if the post times were displayed as static actual times rather than the dynamic value they currently have?

Yeah the server time is out so no matter what time format it would be wonky. Anyways it's a technical/server admin problem so will be fixed.

Is it just the time being out though? If you look at ]this post, all the times are going in the opposite chronological order yet when you clicked on the last post in each thread, it was displaying the correct time of posting and they were all in the correct order.

i think whoever said above that its the time bug, as mine been like this on and off all day, i had started a thread and when i looked back on it 5 min later it said i posted it 6 hours whatever min ago, all wrong. so you are not alone, not that that makes it any better.

Yeah. The times will have been recorded correctly in the database, it's just when you access them one of the servers is taking 7 hours off the time in the database when it shows the user the page.

As Admin says above, it's an issue with the time on one of the servers being wrong... I'm sure the server Admin will fix it soon.

But why would that make it show in the reverse order to normal? Normally the top one is the least amount of time with each subsequent thread having a higher value but my screenshot shows the reverse order.

I mention previously that it sounded like a server recorded issue, … I mention previously that it sounded like a server recorded issue, however it seems more than just that!Last night, a post was made that was shown as about 6 hours out. However there were several posts made after and that post was still showing as the last one. (ie it wasnt the last post anymore!) Thing is, even after a refresh 12 hours later, that "last post" reference was still there! I added to the thread and it righted itself. But there is a bug there - that's possibly related.BTW - where is HUKD hosted? If the whois search I did is corrrect its with Coreix (sp) in London. Is that correct. (ie the server is in London)

guv if yor referring to the one i posted, it was because i was the last one to post but it got removed

No, you're right. It's not a wrong time, but it's an issue with one of the servers which has been fixed previously.

It's displaying the time as 7 hours MINUS the time since posted... :?

when posts are removed, they still show as last post, that does not change till a new poster posts and knocks it off
