Strange.. i posted a deal from an individual seller a month or so ago who had 100% positive feedback and it got taken off?
Don't they need to have over 1000 positive feedback too?
Basically no, unless they are a main seller with thousands of positive feedback. A small seller is unlikely to ever get that level of recent feedback. It would need to be a company like Argos eBay deals as individual sellers could get friends to post links to their items to generate sales, self promotion/referrals is against the terms of the site.

They need to be registered as a Business Seller
The rules are complex put this into feedback and magicjay will explain.
Thanks!
HI

as a general guideline under the new rules for marketplace sellers (as a minimum) we look for:

Ebay/Amazon - UK based business seller with 12 months feedback of 300+ with a minimum score of no less than 95%.

Other marketplace sites - Business seller with 12 months feedback of 300 with a score of mostly “Above Average”.

If we do remove a listing because it's unsuitable you should now receive a more specific reason why, but if you have any further queries please respond directly to the thread delete message and one of the team can provide further advice relating to the specific seller / listing.

95% feedback is pretty poor for a high volume ebay seller, cut off should be higher IMO.

Yeah think it’s the same with FBA as well there were some glitches earlier in the year and they got taken off and I think that was part of the reason. Sadly some of the mods never reply

They have a VAT number normally on the sellers details page.

Even FBA we tend to look for 300 as a minimum too. It is actually pretty easy for a seller to pay Amazon to fulfil and then get their products on hotukdeals as a new seller so there needs to be some feedback to refer to.

On the point above about high volume sellers, we'll review them as and when they get posted but we need to have a general starting point for all sellers so members know what they can and cannot post.
