QuidCo and HUKD are two completely separate sites/identities/etc and HUKD leaves people free to use and mention whatever cashback sites they want.

It would mean a loss of income for hukd. Although would be better for its members.

Fair enough how it is though, you are free to use whichever cashback site you want.

Yeah I get all that and am not suggesting anything different other than the choice to click through Quidco.
Surely that's just a benefit for members and doesn;t in any way take peoples freedom of choice away ?

Why ?
There would be no difference whatsoever from now other than members wouldn't have to trot over to Quidco every time they want to use it.

And I'm not suggesting taking anyone's freedom of choice away.

We've currently left the deals open for people to use what they want for a further discount whether that's Egg, Nectar, Quidco or whatever. Maybe it will change in the future but technically any of those could be a partnership option really.

the site needs some revenue streams so lets not take it all away

I think it is a great balance - if this site did not affiliatise the links then there wouldn't be the cash for the swish development and there would be google adwords or whatever all over the site.

If the owners weren't also linked to a cashback site there would probably be censorship of any mention of routes not using affiliate links.

In my view a neat balance. I bet this site makes a lot more money that Quidco!

Fair enough, perhaps I am seeing it from a selfish viewpoint as I use Quidco a lot.
Just laziness really :whistling:
