It's not Quidco.com, they trade under Maple Syrup Media Ltd. All their information is transparent. HUKD is hidden in shrouds of mystery.

Well, if they are not, then that is all admin needs to say. A business making as much as HUKD should be a limited company though.

To be quite honest I personally couldn't care. This is a superb website that has helped a lot of people either through bargains/savings or for moral support amongst other members.

Why start rocking the boat????

For limited liability. If operating as a sole trader. admin gets sued, for example, then it all comes out his personal pocket, potentially leaving him bankrupt. With a limited company, only the company is liable for any claims, not the individual.

yes I understand that, but I'm not really sure what he could get sued for, therefore can't see any advantage.
I can't see him having many debts apart from server costs, which presumably are paid up front, the development team must be paying him for work experience so no debt there, so unless the mods get paid, then don't really see why he would want to go LTD.

If he's employing editors etc then they could sue him for sexual harassment.

If it doesn't annoy you that Richard Branson doesn't pay income tax here then this thread is of no interest to you.
