You mean that you have a lot of stuff for sale? :?
Obviously I'm not a Moderator, but I don't see a problem. You aren't bulk selling, you haven't advertised the items elsewhere, you aren't a business and as far as I know you ain't a scammer. :-D
Good luck.

I have just re-read the T&C's for the FS/FT board. I don't foresee any problems.

WHAT IS THE HUKD FOR SALE/TRADE FORUM

The HotUKDeals For Sale/Trade forum is an area where HUKD members can personally trade with other members. It is like the classifieds in your local paper or eBay but entirely free and for member use only. HUKD does not make any guarantee as to the trustworthiness or condition of any trades on here and we do not validate the listings on here. So please trade cautiously, follow these rules closely and understand the risk factor involved in any personal trades. Pay particular attention to the "Suggested Guidelines for Buyers" section below.

SECTION I: WHO CAN SELL, BUY AND TRADE

(1) This is for personal trading/selling only. NO businesses or bulk sales. No linking to an external business/eBay store/Amazon store.

(2) NB: This forums definition of TRADE is: an exchange of items between members, usually without payment of money.

SECTION II: LISTING A TRADE, SALE OR REQUEST

(1) All sales must be listed and completed fully on the HUKD FS/FT forum. NO eBay, auction, classified or external links to an item listed elsewhere.

(2) It should go without saying but no prohibited, classified or otherwise illegal items.

(3) Please post images of the actual items for sale. This helps your sale or trade by showing the condition and also that you have the product in your possession. This is not a necessity but will go a long way to helping your sale and establishing validity.

(4) List an asking price in your listing. Every item you list should have a legitimate asking price. Obviously you can still haggle over this.

(5) If advertising a ticket sale it should be at cost price and not an inflated price.

(6) Please update your thread once the item has been sold, trade completed or request fulfilled.

SECTION III: FULFILLING YOUR TRADE OBLIGATIONS

(1) Once an offer has been made an accepted the trade should be considered final. Sellers who accept an offer and subsequently accept a higher offer from another member will be banned from trading. On the flip side members who submit an offer and subsequently cannot fulfill it due to lack of funds will be banned from trading.

(2) Goods remain the responsibility of the seller until the buyer takes possession and affirms they are okay. For this reason be honest in your descriptions and include original photos so the buyer knows what they are getting! Also, use a form of insured and signed for delivery to ensure any shipping/delivery mishaps will be covered.

SECTION IV: THREAD COMMENTS, SPOILING AND PRICE COMPARISON

(1) Please only post in a thread if you are interested in engaging in the sale/trade listed. Anything else will be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. Thread spoilers face a ban from the FS/FT forum. If a member continually posts questions in multiple threads and then withdraws from the sale this will be considered thread spoiling. Low ball offers will also be considered thread spoiling - keep them to pm's.

(2) The only exception to this is if you see the EXACT item priced higher than available new elsewhere. In this case a third-party can make a post but ONLY in the following format: LINK TO MERCHANT - PRICE. No comments, just the facts. This must be the final price (after VAT/shipping) for a new product and from a reputable merchant. Price comparison to auction sites, classifieds or other personal sales are not allowed. Members who do not follow these posting rules face a ban from the FS/FT forum.

(3) If you believe a poster is dodgy please pm a moderator with your evidence. ONLY post suspicions in the thread if you are 100% positive the poster is a troll.

SECTION V: SUGGESTED GUIDELINES FOR BUYERS

(1) Check the traders HUKD trading feedback. Please read details posted here: ]HUKD FS/FT feedback

(2) Outside of this you can use the poster's eBay feedback to establish some kind of trust level. If you do so make sure you contact the user through eBay to make sure the account they state as theirs is indeed theirs.

(3) Use PayPal. We would recommend only buying from Verified PayPal Members. You can see this status on the second PayPal screen when you go to make a payment, you do not have to complete the payment to view this. PayPal is far from perfect but at least it gives you the chance of recourse if things go pear shaped.

(4) Receive and validate the following information:
1]Landline telephone number Make a CALL to check out the area code and number are correct too!
2]Name and address including postcode
3]Valid e-mail address [no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example].
4]Make a small payment to and from each other to validate the PayPal e-mail address.

(5) If possible, collect and pay for items in person.

Caveat Emptor. Do NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself. This forum is equivalent to a newspaper's classified section, HotUKDeals is not responsible for and does not vouch for any listings or sales/trades in this forum! Use your head, follow the guidelines, evaluate the risk and make your own decision.

SECTION VI: HUKD TRADING FEEDBACK

Please make sure you leave trading feedback for any trade you are involved in. This helps good traders build a reputation and warn others about bad ones. Please read details posted here: ]HUKD FS/FT feedback

Yeah its a LOT of stuff for sale so didn't want to get shouted at for being a busincess as really I'm just emptying about 2/3 rooms since they are filled with stuff I never use. Plus didn't know if selling to friends would be counted as not selling online even though they'll view the list here. My friends however aren't members

Anyway thanks Dino have some rep lol

Don't forget ]freecycle for the stuff you can't get rid of.

Saves a trip to the tip

That should be ok pawsntails.

Why not ask your friends BEFORE you list?
If you only used one post and could fit it in the OP, then you would fill up the FS/FT board with things.
If you have so much would it not be easier to take it all to a Car Boot sale? You may get rid of it all in one go.

Yeah only put it in one post - don't make a seperate post for each item.

Ooooops, if I knew you would reply I'd have left this for you ;-)

Never heard of freecycle before I'll look into it.

The plans are forum. then after a few weeks taking down all stuff that hasn't sold. Maybe doing some joblots on ebay for similar or expensive items, then carboot after that, then after all that charity shops so they can try and get some money from left over bits and bobs.

Then hopefully the puppy, its stuff and some extra money to go towards his on going bills.

Don't worry it will only be one post, it would be unfair to knock everyone else to like page 10 and after with all the stuff being individually listed

What type of stuff are you selling ?

What breed of dog are you after ?

Good Luck !!

Listing it all in one thread, please remember that you can only post six images [I think at this time] in each post. So you might want to create extra replies in the thread, reserved for all your items.

Thanks Ray I didn't know that.

Chris - Everything, Comics, Book, Videos, DVDs, Games, Electrical etc...
I'm after another Eurasier, just waiting for him to be born, hopefully sometime this year.

Hope you can keep track of all this stuff.

How about a spread sheet of what goes to who and if payment has been received or not. Or is this a bit over the top ?

I usually keep a copy of whose bought what and where its going on my computer then a hard copy on my desk. I'm usually good at keeping track of sales. I've been hoarding for years and then every now and again I do a complete clean up and sell off hundreds of items. So I've had a lot of practice lol

The list won't go live for a day or 2 guys, your gonna have to sit tight and bite your nails in the mean time lmao. The stuff isn't groundbreaking unfortunatley but hopefully it will have a few things people are looking for.
