Just not as intuitive or easy to read as the previous version. Heat rating consigned to a smaller, secondary issue seems counter productive.

No obvious change for me. Still has confused break-heavy appearance:

I preferred the newer layout.

I thought having the temperature of the deal underneath and it being smaller would have users looking at the title and the price and thinking about it rather than concentrating on the vote rating. Which could mean other users who may not be interested in the product or have no idea about the price but won't be so quick to hit the vote button.

Well the new layout is a mess, it takes up much more space for no useful purpose and its a lot harder seeing the deal temperature.

This means its not easy to quickly scan through a days deals to see if anything catches your eye.

If you really want to keep this the please give an option like for the pictures to use the old format rather than this new one.

After all the first bit of OP comments is not a great help.

Not keen on the new layout. Too much white space and hard to read. Takes too long to browse.

I've stopped using the desktop website with the new design. The main problem is that I want to quickly scan down a list of items to find those of interest using the item's title and the photo. The problem is the photo has moved to the right so is not next to beginning of the item title, where the key info is, and the photo now appears too small, so is often not useful. The positioning means that one has to scan left to right if one wants the key part of the title and the photo, which takes more effort, and makes skimming though the list unpleasant. I consider this new desktop design a disaster with this fundamental design error. All the other bells and whistles are worthless if one can't effortlessly browse the deals. A shame, as I used to use the site more than once a day.
