Microsoft Internet Explorer 9[.0.8112.16421] & Google Chrome 11[.0.696.68] can both use the Cascading Style Sheet referenced in the HotUKDeals.com HTML header tags:

[ hotukdeals.com/sty…css ]

However, Mozilla Firefox 3[.6.17] refuses to "find" the file:

"Firefox can't find the file at view-source:hotukdeals.com/sty…css."


Consequently, the pages viewed have no style & appear "text only" without any colour/font size & other attributes applied.


Has a change been made to the site header(s) recently (within the last hour or so)?

Earlier today, Mozilla Firefox could display the site correctly; I have just looked at an offline copy of a page I saved at 12:11pm.

Now it is stated as:

link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/stylesheets/styles.min.1305746506.css"

Sorry, not a problem with HotUKDeals after all.

When I created this thread I did check a few other web sites but everywhere else (I visited at the time) was presented as expected.

However, I visited Zavvi.com half an hour ago & that was also not presented properly due to a "CSS" issue.

I traced back through the installations on my PC & found that Adobe Reader had automatically updated itself earlier today to "Adobe Reader X (10.0.1)".

Having now returned to the "Square Preview Release (Preview 3)" [30 November 2010] (for 64-bit MS-Windows) both HotUKDeals.co.uk & Zavvi.com are displaying correctly.

Apologies again.

I have marked this thread as 'expired' (rather than 'spam') in case anybody else experiences the same issue in the future.
