Pixmania are owned by the same company that owns Currys, (& Dixons etc.)
I have only bought one item from them, it was delivered from the area Currys/ Dixons warehouse by the Currys delivery van.
the Currys price of the item was £299 Pixmania charged £229
you will find you have the same options for returning goods as you have at Currys/Dixons.
you will also find in the majority of cases they are cheaper than Currys.
Quote from their Website:

You will always have the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery. Had a faulty camera (dead on arrival) from Pixmania which had to be sent to France - it may be different for larger goods. Wasn't happy as all instructions were in French and it came with a continental power lead.

The reason why Pixmania are allowed is that they have a "UK facing" site and are relatively reliable are supplying the goods.

I bought a TV a few years back from pix, which had to be sent back for replacement (to France). They picked it up and delivered me a new one within a couple of days, so I don't think the returns situation is too much of a problem. Question is do they always pick up, or do they require things to be posted back (at expense) in some circumstances?
