Thank you for your thread shathwar, on checking further your post appears to have been spammed as it was a duplicate of this existing deal post :

hotukdeals.com/dea…605

Reposts are normally allowed after a period of 4 weeks. Thanks again for taking the time to post.

On this note - if a MOD is deleting a post, it would be really great if they could tell the person who posted it - it's only happened to me once that i can remember but it really discourages posting when they suddenly disappear, it seems rude to delete without notifying. Even a simple button for a MOD to click when deleting with a choice of reasons.

A mod normally does, however the majority of threads that disappear have been member spammed so no warning would be given to the OP

Hi,

You were pm'd right away, I got in touch with you to explain the reason for your thread removal some 4 months ago.

When a mod removes a thread, you'll receive a PM instructing you as to the reason for doing so, there may be an exception in a deals thread if the OP has already acknowledged it as a duplicate.

Okay 1st let me say it's an old friend of mine who owns/runs this company … Okay 1st let me say it's an old friend of mine who owns/runs this company but i've never tested any of the products nor really know anything about how they run the company, i'm in no way connected to the company - so please don't take this as a recomendation!

aScottishBloke as I said I was not pm'd straight away. And have seen many posts from people on here asking why they're post had disapeared and they weren't notified, it happened to me, it happens to others.
I actually forgot about the post you mention - it was deleted because i was connected to the company even though i said clearly I was not connected to the business. It did make me wonder if someone works for ie tesco and post a deal they're praised. To me working for the company seems to be more a direct connection, than mine was. Especially when mse had already been posting about the link & signing up to it. Perhaps i should have lied and just said i found it on mse. Honesty seems to be discouraged. I found the solution many seem to, and just didn't post for a while after that.

However the deleted and not notified post I meant was another, a few months before, I remember emailing to find out what happened and was told (can't remember the details now) - but I had to email, and i regularly see posts on here from people asking why their post just disappeared.

It was just a suggestion to notify in all cases. It obviously is up to the powers that be whether they take it up.
