if the person wanted to they could just get rid of the img from the quote.

You can edit the post that you quote, removing the picture if you choose. Not sure if that is what you mean birdyboy???
Or you are suggesting that when you quote a post with pictures, the system will automatically remove the pix in the quoted reply. That would make sense as posts with pictures can be quoted and re-quoted duplicating the original picture.

Traindriver, you are spot on with the 2nd suggestion....I know posts can be edited, but if you don't feel comfortable doing it you may end up deleting the whole post!
Also, a lot of users aren't even aware you can edit/delete posts anyway.
Some users may not even know what the IMG tags are....

For those who want to get rid of the images just click just after the image and press the backspace on your keyboard.
