If a member requests thread closure and a transaction has already been completed (ie all that needs to happen is for feedback to be exchanged) then we usually delay the thread lock.
Other than that, if a seller/buyer decides to go elsewhere for their trade then we have no choice but the lock the thread at their request.

No.. really?! :-D Honestly if there was anything else we could do of course we'd be doing it. But if a member wants their thread closing then that's that.

In FS/FT? EDIT: Actually, you're technically breaking a rule by not requesting them to be closed when the sale has ended. ;-)
