It doesn't 99.9% of the time for me anyway.

Adding to that, subscribing to a fs/ft is pointless as it doesn't show in the subscribed threads bit, only the fs/ft tab.

'recent' activity... ah yes the part where 3-4month old deals with no new activity pop up randomly.
perhaps first part of improving recent activity is making it so it shows activity that is recent.

agree though with the need/benefit of an easy way to check for replies without subscriptions though i expect the section would need to be expandable.

Fair enough not sure for fs/t threads - works for other threads for me.
on fs/t threads enable email notifications for new posts maybe?

Surely it could be set up so its only any thread within a pre-determined time period? Week or 2 perhaps?

I tried the subscibe to thread on this one, hasnt worked....

a week is alot of posts for some and some may like to see updates over 2 weeks old.
