Hi there,
I was trying to vote in the retailer awards (https://www.hotukdeals.com/competitions/retailerawards), I logged in, voted and was then prompted to login with a social media account to "verify that im a real person."
I do not have social media. Is this just a means of identifying another data point for users to be used for advertising?
What's wrong with MFA + captcha for rooting out the bots? oauth for human verification is not industry standard and at worst, sketchy for a site (that I trust) with such a great community.
Thanks
