Well when I list I tend to want the money for the items however I have had numerous offers from people who say oh I dont have any money in my pay pal account will you swap with something i have to sell, I think yes it would be good to say when you list for sale Please note I will not accept offers of swaps or Please note I will accept offers of swaps, I have been asked numerous times for a swap but to be honest looking to get rid of stuff not collate some more.

I think it's fair enough to ask if a member wants to answer a question regarding whether they will trade without it being counted as a bump.
If the seller then accepts that he/she may trade, then they should be required to state exactly what they will trade for.

Any further posts should relate to trading for these items or a sale only.

But then that is inviting a bump is it not? But I do agree with the rest, usually the reply seems to just be "No thanks", with no indication of whether they want to trade and what they would trade for if they do, which is another bump.

NO because sometimes you can get an offer that you never thought you wanted but think it's ok and it works out great for both people then.

jeez, theres enough rules already without people asking for more. At the end of the day. a question about trading might be asked and op replies once. hardly excessive bumping.

Sellers would then just be vague, eg ps3 games.

But then this still does not stop the problem of bumps, and I think it happens rarely... if people want a trade, they will probably know what they want to trade for.

Well if three people offer a trade for something, and the OP replies to each one individually, thats six bumps. I think thats excessive, and does not need to happen.

Currently, the rule is if you do accept a trade, then you must state exactly what it is you are willing to trade for. Basically, what I am proposing is an extension to that rule.

Surely that is what the titles for.

FS/FT I think you right OP.

:w00t:

1 person offers a trade and op replies "no trades"

replying to any other trade offers would be considered as using a bump
