Agreed, although OPs can close their FS threads opened via FOLK.

I have thought his many times, but then what if an OP's deal is getting lots of cold votes he/she might expire it to stop the cold rush even if the 'deal' still exists.

That is possibly the reason the OP can't 1 click expire their own deals.

Good point - I normally ask a mod to re-open these

A work-around is to edit the expiry date to one which has already passed. Then it only takes one user to expire any deal, competition etc...

I have found this, but what i do is edit the deal and then put yesterday as the expiry date. That expires the deal right away then!
