no...........

The web is not a time zone really. Although I can't see why there would be non-UKers on here there will no doubt will be from time to time. Plus its a family forum so I can't see why they would.

Yet on other forums, during register you can put in your date of birth and have a filter turned on or off for profanity. They could do that and it'd be easier than trying to code a watershed but I doubt they would do any of that really

Who owns this site anyway?

Whatever you write will appear on the pages during normal working hours! What do you want to swear about anyway? I hate swearing both in print and speech.

agree ^^^^

swearing to make a point is childish and pathetic!

if you feel angry write in caps !

"c'mon, we're all adults"

Adults should know how to behave themselves, make points without swearing and be civil towards each other.

The use of swear words isn't necessary and doesn't make you "grown up".

It's not funny and it's not clever.

And I notice the op has been suspended?!?!

Nothing wrong with swearing imo theres a time and a place and sometimes those words convey more emotion than some here would think.

I find it makes the forum more pleasant to read if swearing is filtered, I don't see any real need for it.

swearing shows a lack of vocabulary to express ones self in other ways

Whilst i would agree that you dont have to swear to get your point across i feel that the swear filter on this forum is stupidly strict.

I'm not sure how many of those words will be *'d out
