Guess you havent been reporting bugs and helping to get them fixed only for the developers to close the bloody thread down.

I agree with you, Phil. I am not quite sure of the rationale behind closing the ongoing thread (again!), as it made sense to collate all the long-standing problems in one place for easy reference & further reporting of additional instances.

Prefixing threads with [BUG] or [GLITCH] or [FIX] or [RESOLUTION] or whatever may help find the issues (if the search system is not working [add you own punchline] too).
