It does for mods...but we currently have it off for members as we didn't want it bouncing back and forth.

But is that not something we would want? That way the deal (and front page) is kept up to date.

Wouldnt it also take more than one person to change the status anyway?

It would be nice of Mods kept a closer eye on deals that "un-expiry" as I've seen mod reply to threads where the deal is back but they have not unexpired it.

Exactly - so then we have a voting pool for expired, then another voting pool for unexpired and then another for re-expired etc etc. I gets really complicated code wise which is why we just put 'ultimate' power on this to mods. I could look at giving higher reputation members the ability to do it also.

Very true about the code - good point.

Yeah that would be nice as i like to help as much as possible so the mod's time isn't wasted on things that would be easily controlled my the community.

So yes, please could you have a look.

Thanks for the reply's admin!

Yup I have found this to be a problem in the past. I too have asked for items to be un-expired as the deal is back on but they never have (well sometimes anyway), even with people posting in the deal the heading still says "expired" meaning a lot of people will not look at the post because they would think it's people just chatting about the product or company even though they may have wanted the item in the first place but missed out.
