I am waiting for admin to arrive to give clarification on the matter so to save threads expanding with no firm clarification I closed the misc one and will do the same here, please just wait for Admins input.

Thanks.

From Admin: Fifa 17 codes from these console bundle deals can be sold on HUKD with usual restrictions on amount (more than 2 in 3 months is traderlike)

So thanks for your patience while this was resolved.

I don't know fanpages, I see there it highlights e-codes aren't allowed so that's probably where the confusion has come from. Maybe they will update the rules.

Previous guidelines have been:

You can sell the e-code if you have a tangible card to accompany it (& that you can provide photographic evidence of if/when requested)

It is the buyer's prerogative to request that the physical card is sent, or not, as well as sending the e-code by "Private Message" (or e-mail).

A seller may charge postage if the physical card is to be sent.

From a quick look, I'm guessing that the issue would be the "I have some Fifa 17 Xbox one codes..." - the multiple copies suggests traderlike behaviour

Read the thread he posted in Misc, he acknowledged that and if you read the thread in FS/FT at the bottom it clearly says locked as it's an e-code.

My understanding is that HUKD interprets "e-code" as being a code sent digitally to the original purchaser, rather than one printed on a card, and it doesn't look like it being an e-code was the specific reason ultimately stated, rather that it was a bundle copy (assuming that we're thinking of the same thread, of course!) - but there does seem to be some discrepancy in approach, I agree. I'm sure that the mods will get it sorted out soon enough.

The team know what is meant to be happening

We consider e-codes to be digital only codes (like emailed keys etc). For our rules we class these as tangible items.
