Mate you need to drop a mod a direct message directly and complain. That's what I'll do. You get a bit of hate but then you'll get an answer too.

I think it was taken down as it may have been a duplicate. There is a deal with the same info on already.

Probably why, although it's always been okay in the past

That's exactly why I bet, but I was under the impression that posting a "deal" with lack of specifics would be moved to misc. Such as the Xbox sales where people post there will be a deal but not what the games will be. Same with this, EA Access adding vault games sometime between July-September. I thought it was too vague for a deal but worth a misc heads up. Clearly not....

Cheers fella. I think I'll just bypass the whole lot and post everything as a deal now and they can sort it out from there. Trying to do the right thing is a waste of time, well what ever today's right thing rule is...

So next time someone posts a heads up about a sale, such as the Xbox live sales, with no dates or specific games, it's perfectly fine to put it in deals? Thanks will remember for the future

Each thread will be reviewed on its own merit. If you wished to discuss the EA deal feel free to use the existing thread.

Yeah, then it'll get moved to misc and another member will post it in deals and it will be allowed to stay there

I fully expect this comment to be removed

Was the duplicate buried in a megathread where no one would ever find it? I'm so tired of that. I must miss hundreds of deals because a gem was buried in a megathread that from the title would seems like something I have absolutely no interest in.

It was literally a "deal" that I believed was too vague to be a deal, so posted as a heads up in misc.

EA had announced the next additions to the vault as part of the EA Access service, but no specific dates just "July - September 2017" which is to me kinda vague. Someone else posted the same as a deal. So my thread was deleted and the other was allowed to stand in deals rather than being moved to misc, which often happens. The link for the "deal" is only an announcement on EA's page, so would be surprised if that generates affilate revenue from click throughs...

As I've said earlier, just seems to be different rules on different days round here. Kinda puts you off bothering to do the right thing...

Very annoying, I've heard the no proper date not a deal rule many times. Sounds like you did the right thing.

Appears no date and no price are now allowed to be posted as deals!
