Free theme but Sony and Bethesda can do one.

If you are hacked and the hacker spends hundreds of pounds on your card Sony are happy to refuse you a refund, and should you process a charge back with your CC company they will ban your PSN profile.

Yet when they make an error that costs them money they are happy to retract the purchase with no explanation.

Restarted my PS4 and the locked theme, is now unlocked. So it appears that they haven't locked off the downloads. That's nice.

For anybody concerned regarding the static theme. This lad's mum bought him the Season Pass from CDKeys 4 days ago and the static theme was included. So it's seems like a genuine freebie rather than a mislabelled product.

If you include all the PS+ games, this is still the best thing Sony has given away in years

I don't think the developer will suffer. It will be Sony. They are responsible for the content on the store and they'll have to foot the cost.

Had a few things like this in the past with glitches on the PS Store and they've never revoked anything. They just move quickly to close it down and suck it up.

Dont have Fallout 4. dont have PS4, still got it though, just in case lol.

Saying that, my item in the download list says its the 'Fallout 4 Static Theme' but when I click on it it goes to the season pass.

how can we play it none of the content is released yet, its showing in my downloads that i own it, so we wont now until the first DLC is released which i think is in a couple of weeks.

Fantastic spot OP! Just "bought" it, hopefully it will work. Last time they did this with game of thrones season pass it worked once tied to your account.

This is amazing. I literally just turned on PS4, saw Fallout 4 and thought "Oh, better check to see if there's any deals on the Season Pass" and now it's installed on my console. Thank you so much for this!

It'd be nice if they do honour this, but I'd be okay to pay a reduced price. I'm happy to support the developers with my money for their hard work, I just never got round to buying the Pass before it's price increase.

Scorchio! Just bought through the mobile site.

I managed to get it installed. I purchased through the site, then visited Fallout 4's page on the console Store.

The pass was then marked as "Purchased" and I was able to download/install from there. We'll see if it works next week, but as of now, it looks like it has.

Got it JUST before it got taken down. I bought it for free then tried to link it to a mate and it's gone!

Has to be done via the PSN store website not via the PS4 store. As when I checked PS4 was £39.99 but I logged in on the PSN store website and it was free so purchased through there now its showing as purchased on my PS4.
