The MacBook Pro 2023 comes in two sizes — 14-inch and 16-inch, which are kitted out with some serious processor chips. Choose from the M2 Pro and M2 Max.
Apple’s latest MacBook Pro is here and it is built for designers and filmmakers in mind, there’s a reason its called the Pro. It also comes with a professional price tag!
Without re-mortgaging your home, or getting work to pay, it might be unlikely you’ll get one. However, for those that want to know, here are some details…
The latest models feature the new chips — M2 Pro and M2 Max (in the 16-inch) — building on the previous redesign that included more ports, increased power, and high-quality screens to cater to the needs of power users.
It’s not surprising that the design of the MacBook Pro 14 remains similar tot he 2021 version — it was a major overhaul at the time, and Apple won’t simply change what was clearly working.

A stunning 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with ProMotion compatibility is still among its many highlights. The noticeable notch houses a 1080p camera, perfect for FaceTime calls.
It contains every port you could possibly need, including three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports, an HDMI port, a headphone jack, and a full-sized SD card slot. It also has a MagSafe power connector — which powers the long-lasting battery (now up to 22 hours, depending on size).
Additionally, the laptop’s general shape continues the long-lasting unibody MacBook Pro design — flat with curved angles and beautifully-sharp edges.
“MacBook Pro with Apple silicon has been a game changer, empowering pros to push the limits of their workflows while on the go and do things they never thought possible on a laptop,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
“Today the MacBook Pro gets even better. With faster performance, enhanced connectivity, and the longest battery life ever in a Mac, along with the best display in a laptop, there’s simply nothing else like it.”
