Just ask her for recommendations or specific playlists and she will oblige. It's a fantastic way to listen to pop's greatest artists.
Video Games – Amazon stocks all the releases for PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One, Wii U and Nintendo Switch, as well as plenty of Xbox 360 and PS3 titles too. Expect plenty of discounts on the hottest new releases as well as gaming accessories like headsets and steering wheels.
Books and eBooks – Amazon rose to fame as a bookseller, and literature is still a big money spinner for the company. When Amazon Prime Day comes around, expect to find a vast array of Lightning Deals on popular authors and children's books, as well as Kindle-friendly eBooks.
DVDs and Blu-rays – Amazon Prime may offer a huge amount of streaming videos, but you'll still be able to pick up standard DVDs and Blu-rays when Prime Day arrives. If you've had your eye on a blockbuster box set for the past year but haven't had the cash to afford it, now's your chance.
Fire TV and the Fire TV Stick– Amazon offers video streaming directly to ordinary TVs via the Amazon Fire TV Stick or the Amazon Fire TV. Featuring a USB stick and a sleek control, the Fire Stick provides access to shows like Goliath, Le Mans or Mozart in the Jungle, as well as Netflix and BBC iPlayer, and extra channels can be added if you wish. The Fire TV provides the same features but is different when it comes to hardware. It offers a quad-core processor and 2GBs of RAM and is capable of presenting 4K content on your TV.
Fire Tablets – Amazon's own range of all-round entertainment tablets will be probably reduced as well when the Prime Day sale comes around. If you're looking for a cheap tablet that does that allows you to do things like watch movies or play decent games, you should definitely keep an eye on Amazon's Fire tablets.
Kindles – Amazon's popular range of eBook readers also tend to see huge reductions on Prime Day, so if you need a mobile reader to take on holiday or business trips, now is the perfect opportunity.
Warehouse Deals – There's a good chance that Amazon will slash the prices on its Warehouse Deals even more than they did for previous events. You can count on best prices from white goods to homeware items and hightech products then.
4 Quick Tips on Finding the Cheapest Prices on Amazon's Prime Day
The Amazon Prime Day is a massive retail event, and Amazon don't always make it easy to pinpoint the very best deals. We're helping on our Prime Day listing to get the best discounts for you, but it's helpful to know some pro tips for tracking down savings that are relevant to your interests:
Use the Amazon App – Not only does it provide fast access to deals as they are announced, it also sends notifications for your wanted items if you allow it to. Therefore, open the menu in the Amazon app, choose "Settings" and "Notifications". Turn on the notifications for "Your Watched & Waitlisted Deals". Add items to your Watchlist and you will get a push notification when the deal is live.
Lightning Deals – On the Prime Day event new deals will go live every 5 minutes and they don't close until the time's up. When you check Lightning Deals, you'll see a measure which steadily fills up, when it hits 100% all the items have been sold. If you place your order after 100% has been reached, you'll be placed on the waiting list.
Use the Amazon Assistant – Knowing that many people don't want to be glued to their smartphones, Amazon has created the Amazon Assistant which can be installed on your desktop and provides up-to-date information about their deals. It's handy if you need to work and track deals at the same time.
