It's for flexitarians, was never aimed at Vegans

Not sure what the vegans issue is with being cooked in the same space.. All that demanding a seperate area is doing, is creating a bigger carbon footprint.. If it was for religious reasons I'd understand, but frankly the no meat diet is choice.. Crazy how people get so obsessed about these things... What next vegan tescos and sainsburys, worlds gone bonkers.. (ps. Absolutely respect the vegan ethos, and I too am having meat free days to try to reduce methane and the farming crisis, I just don't see what the difference is having a shared area its not like there dripping animal blood on your burger..) I bet a lot of vegans still go for a curry and opt for the paneer cheese dishes and sag aloo etc etc.. If you think curry restaurants use different areas from the numerous ones I know I'd say think again! Anyway each to there own.

I'm slightly put off by the thought of a Vegan Whopper cross contaminating my Whopper with vegan scraps, but I wouldn't demand a separate cooking area.

Using twice the cooking area, twice the energy, twice the utensils, double the detergent and water, to maintain separation would be insane when most businesses are trying to cut emotions and pollution. It would be easier and better for the environment for you to visit vegan restaurants and I non-vegan.

Although, I'm not to put off by burned vegan bits in the sear of my flame grilled whopper.

You are doing it totally wrong. DON'T order using mobile ordering and don't order in advance. Just click 'Redeem in Restaurant' when you are at the till and you just show the code on your phone. It works in all BK restaurants

If you ask for extra lettuce in your "free" whopper, they will refuse because they have been prepared in advance. Maybe it's just my local burger king, but anyway, yes, this isn't the best way to promote burger king. They have the 1.99 Wednesday whopper deal which I think is better value than this.

How can a whopper for £1.99 be better value than a free whopper!

I got the free whopper today and it was decent!

Dangerous.. Not sure I'm with you there, if you were allergic to meat I reckon you would steer clear of burger restaurants.. Never heard of anaphylaxis being caused from a cheese burger.. They've obviously prepared themselves for an influx of customers asking for their "free" whopper and have chucked them all together as quickly as possible. On the other hand, when I order a 1.99 whopper, I can ask for extra lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions. So they make an effort to make it properly. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Because it is difficult to agree and there is no logic to make sense!
Always! repeat always! free whopper wins over paying £1.99 for whopper!
If the £1.99 whopper is preferred, I would still order the free whopper first and then if needed order the £1.99 one.............always......

When you get a whopper prepared just how it should be, it gives you that satisfaction that simply cannot be expressed in words. However, this "free" whopper will be memorable for the wrong reasons.

I am glad you enjoyed. I always respect someones culinary viewpoint who travels the world and eats in Burger king.
