freshjaszy

The Sony all day and everyday. It is an exceptional tv and more suited to gaming if that is the main use for it. Can get the 65" for cheaper than this even!

Anyone know whether the OS is OK on this TV? Speed and apps? Netflix amazon etc

daniel.haddon

Direct backlight led TV for this price is good. If you want a faster refresh rate then your looking at around another £300

OK guys, I've been looking for a 75" TV and have not bought a new TV in more than 5 years so I'm so so out of date on the tech now... Just found this British brand called Linsar … Read more

yes for people who just watch soaps and news its great... if you want to watch movies get a better tv

Ultrathon1

It will not be unwatchable though. The definition of unwatchable is something so bad you can't watch it. In a brighter room, for a lot of people, this will be perfectly fine. Everyone's usage is different.

Ultrathon1

Better for who though? For me personally, yes it would be, if you can afford an extra £200 or so, and don't mind a far far smaller screen, but you're missing the point, they are totally different.

jay.spearing

just spending £200 and getting a 55" bx would be a better option

Smadmad

You said the blacks. I'll put a dark scene on and take a picture later. Unfortunately the Panasonic HX 802 has a bad contrast ratio. You have the last good LED TV that Panasonuc made in the DX 902.

HDMI 2.1?

kolossalk

It'd be interesting to know what content they were watching. If you're streaming non hd channels via Freeview, the sheer size of the TV will definitely exaggerate how terrible the picture quality is. Likewise if if they were to each something on bluray it should be quite good. Anyway, I'd say definitely find official reviews of TVs by 'experts' rather than customer reviews.

daddybr00

This is like most 75” sets for this kind of money, it’s at the budget end ambilight or not and shouldn’t be confused with Philips high end OLED range. It will not look spectacular.

daniel.haddon

I'm looking for 75" but there's mixed reviews on these TVs. Some say they are unwatchable with the quality
